Omar Samhan signs in Australia with Townsville Crocodiles
The big man inks in NBL
The NBL will have another Saint Mary’s University Alumni with the Townsville Crocodiles announcing the signing of Omar Samhan for the rest of the 2015/16 NBL season.
The 27-year-old 6’11 powerfully built centre will arrive in Townsville on Wednesday and is expected to make his NBL debut for the Crocs on Thursday night against the Adelaide 36ers at The Swamp.
Only three weeks after signing to play in the SEABL with the North West Tasmania Thunder for the 2016 season, Samhan came on to the radar of the Crocodiles and has signed for the rest of the 2015/16 season.
Samhan is yet another product of St Mary’s to play in the NBL.
