Cameron Gliddon signs three-year deal with Brisbane Bullets

The deal is official

Australia
Cameron Gliddon has signed a three-year-deal with the Brisbane Bullets with the guard locked in until the end of the 2020-21 season

The former Cairns Taipans captain started in all 28 games last season and led the Taipans with an average of 12.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.

Coach Andrej Lemanis has always been impressed with the 28-year-olds poise and great Basketball IQ.

“Gliddon is one of those guys who has always been difficult to play against and having the opportunity to be with him on the National program, I really started to appreciate his ability to positively affect the game.”

“He has good offense, good defense and brings others into the group; just an all-round skilled player” said Lemanis.

After a successful Commonwealth campaign under Coach Lemanis where Gliddon contributed eight points, seven rebounds and five assists in the gold medal game. The versatile all-rounder is looking forward to playing Bullets basketball.

"I think if you can build a team around unselfishness and good quality guys on and off the court, and good quality staff. I think that goes along way to being successful" said Gliddon.

After a strong college career at Concordia, Gliddon joined the Taipans where he took home Rookie of the Year honours before going on to captain the Taipans for the past two seasons.

A regular fixture with the Boomers, Gliddon narrowly missed out on the Rio Olympics roster and has since held down a stop with the Australian team that competed in the Asia Cup as well as the recent FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.

Gliddon is the latest in what is expected to be a big recruiting haul for the Brisbane Bullets.
