The former NBA player moves to NBL
The SKYCITY Breakers have today confirmed an NBA quality move into the import market, confirming the signing of former Indiana Pacers big man Rakeem Christmas to the roster for the remainder of the ANBL season.
With the paperwork finalized and all clearances through, the Breakers are able today to confirm the move to sign a third and final import to the roster, and while decorations might be coming down around the country, 26-year-old Christmas arrives today and will practice with the team tomorrow ahead of their trip to play Illawarra this Saturday.
SKYCITY Breakers Head Coach Paul Henare outlined the reasons for bringing in a third import, an option that was always there should the team feel the need.
