Tony Parker: 'The new FIBA windows are a terrible idea, I don't know why they created them'
The french point guard spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport
In an interview with the Italian newspaper la Gazzetta dello Sport, veteran point guard Tony Parker spoke about the new FIBA windows for the NTs:
"The new FIBA windows are a terrible idea, " said Parker. "I don't why they were created. It's weird to have players that are on the team in the qualification round but then they don't play in the World Cup. I liked the former system but the ideal scenario would have it been a four-year system: one year the European Championship, the year after the World Cup and the year after that the Olympics games with one year free for the players".
