Andrei Kirilenko: 'It's absolutely necessary to find a solution between FIBA and Euroleague'
The president of Russian federation made an interview with sports.ru

In an interview with sports.ru, Andrei Kirilenko, current president of Russian Federation, repeated how vital is to find a solution to end the conflict between FIBA and Euroleague:
" My clear position - basketball in Europe should be united. It's absolutely necessary to find a solution between FIBA and Euroleague calendars. Euroleague is based on commerce, and in theory, they can do whatever they want. But at the same time, it should understand the effects on other leagues and clubs. There's fragmentation not only regarding national teams but top clubs as well. For me, for example, there's a clear focus on Spanish teams. I understand their competition is strong, but they just cannot have 5 clubs out of 16. This discredits the whole league."
