FIBA asks to Germany the possibility to organize Olympic Qualifying Tournament
FIBA sent a letter to German Federation, an answer it's expected next week
Another step from the FIBA in the war against the Euroleague.
After the exclusion of 14 national teams for the next EuroBasket 2017 the International Federation sent also a letter to German Federation, asking the possibility to host one of the three Olympic Qualifying Tournament of the next July, currently assigned to the city of Turin, Belgrade and Manila.
Next weekend the FIBA board should take a decision about this possible solution, replacing teams and locations that can't, for any reason, organize the event.
FIBA hopes to receive an answer from Germany next week, until 21th April.
