Italy ready to make a bid to host a preolimpic tournament in Turin

Italian Basketball Federation is ready to make a bid to organize one of the three olympic qualifying tournaments that will be played on July 2016.

FIP president Gianni Petrucci already spoke with the president of the Italian Olympic Committee Gianni Malagò.

Italy would host the tournament in Turin at PalaIsozaki as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport. The arena built for the 2006 Olympic Games hosted the Eurocup Final Eight in the past and some editions of the Italian Final Eight.
