Eurobasket 2017 Group C: Spain and Croatia still leading the race, Montenegro get first win

Montenegro bounced back after their opening day 39-point defeat to Spain. They have led from start to finish in a comfy 72-48 win over Hungary.
The twin towers of Montenegro were on same page. Both Bojan Dubljevic and Nikola Vucevic had 13 points and 7 rebounds, with an efficiency rating of 15. David Vojvoda collected 20 points for Hungary, who have fallen to 0-2 in Group C. Adam Hanga returned after his injury on Day 1, the small forward had 8 points in 22 minutes for Hungary.
After tearing Montenegro apart in a 39-point win, Spain continued their impressive run with a 93-56 win over Czech Republic. Spain are 2-0, +76 in Group C.
Pau Gasol was his usual self with 26 points in 20 minutes, edging ever-closer to that first spot in the FIBA EuroBasket all-time scoring list. He now needs just 25 more points to overtake Tony Parker. Gasol had a partner in crime in Ricky Rubio this time, the point guard scored 14 of his 17 points in the first quarter. Gasol and Rubio shot 14-of-18 from the field.
Croatia had an early scare against Romania, but used a 28-2 run to calm the nerves. They never looked back after that, celebrating a 74-58 win that sees them climb to 2-0 in Group C.
Bojan Bogdanovic was sensational once more, putting up 21 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field. Dario Saric struggled with his shot, but managed to collect 11 points and 10 rebounds, Luka Zoric was also in double digits with 10 points off the bench. Vlad Moldoveanu had a team-high 14 points for Romania, who have fallen to 0-2.
