American big man Melsahn Basabe has signed a contract with Cuore Napoli Basket of the Italian Serie A2, the team announced.
The Iowa product averaged 13.5 points and 6 rebounds in two games played with AZS Koszalin in Poland before signing with the Italian team.
Basabe also had stints in Finland, Belgium and Greece.
