With Kapono to PAO, Cantù will try to sign Derwin Kitchen

Chebolletta Cantù is on the market since the injury suffered by Jerry Smith a few weeks ago. The Italian team asked info on several players but none of them satisfied the coaching staff.

The last player pursued, Brad Wanamaker, decided to stay in France with Limoges where he signed during the summer.

But the important news for Cantù arrives from Greece. Jason Kapono resolved his familiar problems and is expected to join Panathinaikos next week.

His arrival in Athens will offer to Cantù the chance to try to sign again Derwin Kitchen. Former Maccabi Rishon LeZion guard might leave PAO after the arrival of Kapono.

Cantù pursued Kitchen even a few weeks ago, but the delay in the departure of Kapono to Greece stalled the deal. Next week should be decisive for the future of Kitchen.
