Former River Rouge High, Ohio State player Brent Darby dead

The Columbus Dispatch is reporting the Brent Darby, who led River Rouge to back-to-back state basketball titles in the late 90s and went on to play at Ohio State, died today in a Detroit hospital. He was 30.
Darby's former OSU teammate, Neshaun Coleman, told the newspaper that Darby had been hospitalized Monday night with blood clots in his legs, possibly the result of complications from heart surgery he had undergone earlier this year.
