Marcus LoVett Jr. joins Aquila Basket Trento for training camp
The rookie guard comes from St. John's
Rookie guard Marcus LoVett Jr. has joined Italian Serie A club Aquila Basket Trento for training camp, the team announced in a press release.
As a sophomore, LoVett averaged 14.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.1 steals, and 1.7 assists in 7 games for St. John's before suffering a season-ending MCL injury.
After spending two seasons at St. John's, LoVett decided to forgo his remaining college eligibility by signing with agent Raz Khan, with the plan for him to turn pro and enter the 2019 NBA Draft.
