Olimpia Milano signs Kaleb Tarczewski to a contract extension

The big man inks for two more years

Pallacanestro Olimpia Milan and Kaleb Tarczewski agreed on a 2-year contract extension that will include the 2019/20 season.

Born in Claermont, New Hampshire, on February 26, 1993, Kaleb Tarczewski attended the Stevens High School of Claremont for two years. He then transferred to St.Mark’s High School, in Southborough, Massachusetts. During his senior season he was named Independent School League’s MVP, averaging 20.7 points per game, 10.2 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots. He had 14 points and 10 rebounds in the “Jordn Classic” game in Charlotte and was part of the USA team in the Hoop Summitt of Portland. Eventually, he played four seasons at Arizona, where he won 110 games, the most ever by an Arizona player. He was included in the All-Pac 12 second team and in the All-Pac 12 defensive team during his senior year. In September of 2016 he was signed by the Oklahoma City Thunder, spending with them the entire preseason. After being released, he joined the D-League’s Oklahoma City Blue. He played 25.5 minutes per game, scoring 10.0 points and grabbing 7.3 rebounds per game. He signed for Olimpia for the final portion of the 2016/17 season and he averaged 6.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. The last season he’s made his EuroLeague debut, starting 29 games. In the process he finished ninth overall in rebounding (5.7), seventh in offensive rebounding (2.4) and was also ninth in shots blocked (0.8). He was seventh also in field goal percentage (64.4%). He won the Italian league championship finishing the season as the best per-minute rebounder in the league.
