Virtus Bologna and Scandone Avellino want Luca Banchi as head coach

Virtus Bologna and Scandone Avellino are interested in Luca Banchi for the head coaching job for next season.

Banchi is leaving Brose Bamberg and could return to Serie A.

Avellino had an agreement in place with Max Menetti but the owner of the team said no to the coach because he wants Banchi as head coach.

Virtus Bologna tried to sign Andrea Trinchieri but he turned down the proposal. The names for Virtus head coaching job are Luca Banchi, Sasha Dordjevic, Sergio Scariolo and Maurizio Buscaglia.
