BCL CEO Comninos: We'd love to have Virtus Bologna in Basketball Champions League

Basketball Champions League CEO, Patrick Comninos, confirmed that they are interested in having Virtus Bologna in the competition from next season.
Comninos was in Italy to attend the game between Virtus and Olimpia Milano.
“Massimo Zanetti (the owner) has a plan to bring Virtus Bologna back to top levels in Serie A and Europe. We’d love to have Virtus Bologna in Basketball Champions League. Wild card? All is possibile in this world. Let’s see if they qualify on the court or we will decide what we can do. We prefer sports criteria based on results but we also have a wild card system. We hope we can finalize our cooperation” Comninos said, as reported by the most important local newspaper from Bologna.
