American guard Jamon Lucas Gordon has decided to retire from professional basketball at the age of 33, it was confirmed yesterday in a press conference.
Gordon played his last game yesterday with the Italian Serie A team Pistoia.
A former Virginia Tech player, Gordon has averaged 6.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists in six games this season in Italy.
Gordon spent six seasons in the EuroLeague with Maroussi, Olympiacos, Galatasaray, Anadolu Efes and Darussafaka.
