The Italian forward close to leaving Trento to sign in Bologna
Filippo Baldi Rossi is close to leaving Aquila Basket Trento to join Virtus Bologna, a source told Sportando.
Virtus Bologna will pay a buyout to Trento and will extend Baldi Rossi’s contract till 2019.
Virtus was on the market since weeks looking for a power forward. They have tried to sign Christian Burns from Pallacanestro Cantù and former NBA big man Andrea Bargnani but both deal could not be finalized.
Baldi Rossi will be the backup at PF/C and later this season Virtus Bologna will try to sign another American to strengthen the roster for the final part of the campaign.
