Olimpia Milano signs Jordan Theodore

Pallacanestro Olimpia EA7 Emporio Armani Milano agreed on terms with Jordan Theodore, a 1.83 mt. point-guard, coming from Banvit Bandirma.

WHO’S THEODORE – Born on December 11, 1989 in Englewood, New Jersey, Theodore attended Paterson Catholic High School in his native New Jersey before enrolling at Seton Hall. He played for the Pirates from 2008 to 2012 finishing his senior season with 16.6 points per game and setting the new school-record for most assists in a single season with 226 (the old record belonged to Golden Sunkett and was set during the 1962/63 season). His first pro season was spent in Antalya, Turkey. Eventually, he moved to Puerto Rico, to Mersin in Turkey, to Bourg-en-Bresse in France. In 2015/16, he moved to Germany playing for the Fraport Skyliners. He led his team to the Fiba Europe Cup championship (he averaged 14.4 points, 4.6 assists and made 90.2 percent of his free throws) and was included in the Bundesliga second best team (14.5 points and 4.7 assists on average). In 2016/17 he led Banvit to the Turkish Cup win and was named the competition’s MVP (he scored 19 points, grabbed nine boards and dished five assists in the championship game against Efes); he competed in the Chmpions League’s Final Four and won the MVP trophy. He averaged 16.2 points, 7.5 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game (he made 35.8 percent of his threes, 81.2 percent of his free throws). He also made the All-Star team and averaged 18.4 points per game (third overall) and 7.2 assists per game (first overall) in the Turkish league.

NOTES – In 2012 he was named to the Big East Conference second team… He has dual citizenship and is a member of the Macedonian National team.
