Italian League assembly approves sale of TV rights
The new frame shows RAI airing one game every Sunday on free TV, while Eurosport is thee new owner of the pay TV, international and internet rights of the Serie A chaampionship
The Italian League (LBA) assembly held in Bologna has passed the sale of the TV rights for the next three seasons. The new frame shows RAI airing one game every Sunday on free TV, while Eurosport is thee new owner of the pay TV, international and internet rights of the Serie A chaampionship.
The assembly also confirmed Egidio Bianchi as League President for thee next three years after his election in April 2016 and confirmed 2017-18 Serie A competition will feature the same 16 clubs as last season with the only change of promoted Virtus Bologna replacing Vanoli Cremona, which is relegated after finisshing last in the 2016-17 season.
