Scandone Avellino’s main goal for the offseason will be to re-sign Joe Ragland.
The point guard has been one of the best players in the entire Serie A and Sidigas wants to build the team around him, as confirmed by sports director Nicola Alberani.
“When the season is over, we’ll talk with him” Alberani told Il Mattino. “We know him and he knows us. He’ll be one of our first meetings. We have built the team around him and when he was healthy we won 11 games out of 15. He is the best player in Serie A. If he leaves, we have to rebuild the team” Alberani added.
Ragland is averaging 18 points, 3.3 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game.
