Dusko Savanovic: Playing for Svetislav Pesic is the biggest mistake of my career
Savanovic spoke about his former coach with Bayern Munich
Dusko Savanovic had a long interview with Serbian website MVP.rs.
The Serbian power forward, who will be playing for Dinamo Sassari this season, said that playing for coach Svetislav Pesic has been the biggest mistake in his career.
“Playing for Svetislav Pesic is the biggest mistake of my career. Between games 3 and 4 in 2014/15 BBL final my father died. I stayed with the team and we won game 4. Then I went to the funeral and came back for game 5. We lost that game and Brose won the tittle. My performance was poor and I didn’t score. From the beginning of the next season Pesic talked about my performance in that game. Last time thats happened at the beginning of the playoffs last season. After that they told to to media that I was injured. All of that was about his personal protection. Joan Plaza and Dusan Ivkovic are the best coaches I have played for” Savanovic said.
