The two Italian brothers flew to Los Angeles to attend Penberthy's school
Mike Penberthy spoke with Sportando about the decision of Alessandro and Stefano Gentile to attend his shooting class.
Alessandro Gentile is the captain of Olimpia Milano which won the Serie A Championship this past season. Gentile's NBA rights belong to the Rockets.
Stefano Gentile is Alessandro's older brother who plays for Pallacanestro Reggiana.
What Alessandro and Stefano have to develop the most to improve their game?
On what you are specifically working with Alessandro and Stefano?
This is a long answer, too many details because there are so many skills in basketball to improve, but for shooting which we are talking about, Ale is rhythm in shooting, Stefano is quicker release is his shooting.
What do you think of Alessandro and Stefano about their games and their decisions to join your school during the offseason?
I am very excited that Alessandro and Stefano are with me this week. In the summers I coach 15 NBA players everyday. So, I believe I can teach all players the necessary skills to reach their individual potential. For Alessandro and Stefano to come to me and work hard, for sure they will improve, and for me this is the greatest joy.
