Olimpia Milano signs Miroslav Raduljica
The Serbian big man inks with Milano
Pallacanestro Olimpia EA7 – Emporio Armani Milano agreed on terms with Miroslav Raduljica, 2.13, born on January 5, 1988, in Indjia, Serbia, coming from Panathinaikos Athens. Raduljica will play in the Olympics with his National Team.
WHO’S RADULJICA – Raduljica is a center who grew up in the FMp Zeleznik youth system. He made his debut in the big league in 2005/06. The ensuing year he was loaned to Borac Cacak. The he returned to Zeleznik where he stayed until 2010 (in his last season he averaged 21.1 points per game with 8.6 rebounds, first in the Serbian league) when he signed a multiyear contract with Efes Pilsen Istanbul. He stayed in Istanbul until March 2011 when he was loaned to Partizan Belgrade and then at Azovmash Mariupol in Ukrain (11.2 points per game in Eurocup). In 2013he moved to the NBA, in Milwaukee. Then he went to China, in Shandong (18.3 points per game), had a bried return to the NBA in Minnesota and finally moved to Panathinaikos Athens. In Euroleague he averaged 12.4 points per game with 4.5 rebounds, while converting 56.8% of his shots and 81.2% of his free throws. In Greece he averaged 9.8 points per game while shooting 61.7% from the field.
NOTES – Raduljica is a member of the Serbian National team. He won the silver medal at the 2014 World Cup and at the 2009 Europeans. With the youth National Teams he has the European Under 18 and Under 20 championships. At the 2014 World Cup he averaged 13.0 points per game and 4.6 rebounds. At the Europeans in 2015 he had 13.6 points per game and 5.0 rebounds-
