Pallacanestro Varese, Chris Wright to part ways
Wright did not pass an antidoping test and now he is expected to leave the team
Chris Wright will leave Pallacanestro Varese.
The Italian team wanted to re-sign the point guard but the two sides are not anymore close to an agreement.
Wright joined Varese in the middle of the season and helped the team to reaching the FIBA Europe Cup Final.
Wright will likely be suspended for doping but for a short period of time (3-4 months). There are also chance for him that he will be absolved.

This suspension was due to prescribed medication by his doctor due to his medication for MS. But because the player/club did not fill out proper paperwork this is what could cause a suspension.
