Alessandro Gentile will have a meeting with Olimpia Milano president Livio Proli in the next couple of days, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Gentile, who has contract, is expected to leave Olimpia Milano with whom he won two Serie A titles as captain.
If he leaves, the buyout will be around €700k.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Alessandro Gentile may continue his career in Europe more than in the NBA. In the previous years CSKA Moscow and Barcelona tried to sign the player.
“My feeling is that Alessandro considered over his experience in Italy, I hope for a last second miracle but the perception is that Alessandro will leave Milano” Proli told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
