Alessandro Gentile: There will be time to decide my future
Proli: 60% of the roster will be confirmed. We are confident that we'll sign three Italian players (Abass, Pascolo are done. The third is Fontecchio?)
Alessandro Gentile, in the press conference the day after the Serie A title won by Milano, said that he has not decided his future yet.
“Olimpia deserved to play with the scudetto on the jersey” Gentile said. “Now there will be time to decide my future” Gentile added. “In Milano I was and I am happy and whatever I’ll decide Milano will always be important for me” Gentile continued.
The president of Olimpia Milano, Livio Proli, also spoke with the media.
“We will decide looking at each other in the eyes. And we’ll understand in a few seconds if his experience in Milano is over, as he said after Game 6, or not. He wants challenges and we’ll decide together. For him and for Olimpia” Proli said. “Olimpia Milano will get an important buyout if he leaves. We’ll never negotiate with players that don’t have anymore wish to play for Olimpia” Proli added. “The 60% of the roster will be confirmed. We are confident that will be signing three Italian players (Abass and Pascolo are already done. The third one could be Fontecchio). Bargnani? We can offer him a serious club and the chance to reach high levels but not in one year” Proli continued.
