Pallacanestro Cantù offered a new contract to Awudu Abass
The future of Abass is now in his hands. The player has contract with buyout for NBA or Euroleague. Cantù wants to keep him and offered him a new and better contract
Pallacanestro Cantù General Manager Daniele Della Fiori confirmed that the club has offered a new contract to Awudu Abass.
The captain of the team has one year left on his contract with Cantù with an option to leave, with a fixed buyout, if he gets offer from the NBA or Euroleague.
Cantù wants to keep Abass and offered him a new and better contract trying to convince him to remain at least one more season.
“We want him to remain with us and we have offered a better contract” Della Fiori said. “We don’t have a deadline for his answer because he has contract for next season. But he is a smart guy and he will decide soon whether to accept or not our proposal” Della Fiori added, as reported by Basketuniverso.
