CONI's Malagò hopes Reggio, Sassari, Trento will step back from decisions to play in EC
The three Italian teams already agreed to play in Eurocup for the next three seasons
Italian Olympic Committee president Giovanni Malagò spoke with Dario “DaRonz” Ronzulli of Radiosportiva saying that he hopes Pallacanestro Reggiana, Aquila Basket Trento and Dinamo Sassari will step back from their decision to play in Eurocup for the next three seasons.
The three Italian teams already accepted the proposal made by Euroleague to play in Eurocup till 2019.
Malagò added that Italy doesn’t risk the participation at the next Olympic Qualifying Tournament (that will be hosted in Turin, Italy) if the three teams won’t change their minds.
