Olimpia Milano to sign Rakim Sanders to a 1+1 contract

Rakim Sanders will return to Italy. The American small forward reached an agreement with Olimpia Milano till June 2017 (second year is a team option) as anticipated by Il Corriere della Sera and confirmed by David Pick.

Sanders has played with Banco di Sardegna Sassari last season averaging 12.3 points per game. Sanders won Supercup, Italian Cup and Scudetto with Sassari. He got injured during the Finals and underwent wrist surgery in the offseason. Sanders is scheduled to return in a few months.
