Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia in advanced talks to sign Vladimir Stimac
The Italian team wants to complete the roster with an important player
Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia is trying to complete the roster with a big addition in the frontcourt. The Italian team is in advanced discussions for a deal with Serbian big man Vladimir Stimac, as anticipated by local newspaper Prima Pagina Reggio and confirmed to Sportando.
Stimac left Bayern Munich today and quickly reached the top of the list of Alessandro Frosini (GM for Reggio Emilia). He was looking for an athletic center, but changed his mind and will opt for a more solid player under the boards and Stimac is his man.
He scheduled a phone call with the player to try to finalize the deal. Stimac can come in a team able to guarantee him many minutes on the court.
To face up a big salary the team will use the buyout they received from Olimpia Milano for Andrea Cinciarini (more than €100.000).
Last season in Bundesliga Stimac averaged 8.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
