Jaka Lakovic says he's negotiating with Avellino to break the contract

Jaka Lakovic said to Ekipa 24 that he is in talks with Scandone Avellino to terminate the contract for next season.
The problem is that Scandone officially contacted Lakovic about their intentions to part ways late in August when since June he was not in next season plans and despite a rich contract signed in the summer of 2013.

“It is true that I’ve a contract but we are negotiating to break the agreement” said Lakovic. “My agent is taking care of the negotiations” added the Slovenian combo guard. “The way Avellino is acting is fine to me. But the truth is that they have chosen an awkward time to decide to break the cooperation. If they had told me in June, it would be quite different. But during the summer they did not reach me out, just at the very end of August when it is very hard to find another team” ended Lakovic.
