Orlandina officially signs Jonny Flynn
The ex NBA will be the point-guard of the Italian team
Orlandina Basket, newcomer team in Serie A, announced the signing of the former NBA point-guard Jonny Flynn. The player has already passed the medical tests and will be introduced to the press next Monday.
Flynn played almost 160 games in NBA with T'wolves, Rockets and Blazers and was drafted by Minnesota Timberwolves in 2009 (round 1, number 6) after two NCAA years with Syracuse. In his rookie year Flynn closed with 13.5ppg, 2.4rpg and 4.4apg obtaining a place in the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.
He had also experiences with Melbourne Tigers two years ago (17.4ppg, 3.9rpg, 5.9apg in Australian NBL) and Sichuan Blue Whales in CBA (without games). With the USA National team he played during the World Championships U19 in Serbia 7 years ago.
