Serie A Round 9: Sportando Team of the Week

Hackett, Collins, Wanamaker, Green and Hunter in the starting five and Walsh as 6th man

STARTING FIVE:

Brad Wanamaker, PG, Giorgio Tesi Pistoia: Pistoia won the third game in a row at home and Brad Wanamaker with +24 of plus minus was one of the best players. Wanamaker scored 17 points with 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals and 6 fouls drawn for 28 of efficiency.

Daniel Hackett, G, Montepaschi Siena: 16 of his 26 points came in the final quarter. Hackett added also 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 7 fouls drawn for 36 of index rating. Simply unstoppable for Avellino.

Mardy Collins, SF, Sutor Montegranaro: The former NBA was the best player of the game in Milano-Sutor despite his team’s loss. Collins scored 23 points (18 in the first half), adding also 4 rebounds and 4 assists. A rebus to solve for Milano’s defense.

Caleb Green, PF, Banco di Sardegna Sassari: Green scored 10 of his 25 points in the final quarter to lead Sassari to an important victory over Reggio Emilia. The forward added also 6 rebounds for 31 of efficiency.

Othello Hunter, C, Montepaschi Siena: 16 points and 16 rebounds for the big man who dominated the game in the pain. Hunter ended with 24 of efficiency in Siena’s victory over Avellino.

6th Man:

Matt Walsh, SF, Granarolo Bologna: Matt Walsh and Jimmy Baron deserved both a mention. But Walsh produced his 26 points and 9 rebounds for 31 of efficiency in 21 minutes.
