Brose Bamberg' Janis Strelnieks out one month with shoulder injury
Strelnieks will miss a month of action
German champion Brose Bamberg will be without sixth man Janis Strelnieks for the next month after the guard suffered a torn ligament in his left shoulder during Sunday's German Cup final. The Bamberg medical staff determined that the injury will not require surgery. Strelnieks, 27, is in his third season with the club. He ranks second on the team with 3.5 assists per game and 39 three-pointers made and third with 11.7 points per game. He had appeared in all of Bamberg’s Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games this far. The team also announced that team captain Elias Harris felt pain in his surgically repaired knee during the German Cup semifinal and will not return to action for the time being.
