Brose Baskets Bamberg re-signs Darius Miller
Miller remains with the German champions
Brose Baskets Bamberg completed its roster for the upcoming 2015-16 Turkish Airlines Euroleague season by re-signing forward Darius Miller for one more season, the club announced Tuesday. Miller (2.03 meters, 25 years old) joined Brose Baskets in February and averaged 9.4 points on 47.2% three-point shooting in 18 German League games last season, helping Bamberg win the title. Miller has also played for New Orleans of the NBA and Iowa of the D-League. He helped the USA U18 national team win a gold medal at the 2009 World Championships, and also lifted the 2012 NCAA Tournament trophy with the University of Kentucky, after having reached the final four in 2011. Miller is set to make his Euroleague debut with Bamberg next season. "It is always good to get back a player who was part of a successful team. Darius has helped us enormously, especially in the last third of last season," head coach Andrea Trinchieri said. "We are in a position to change and adapt something in the coming season, so he should get more opportunities to show his creativity and versatility."
