Alba Berlin pursuing Aleksandar Trifunovic for head coaching job
The German powerhouse on the market for a coach
Aleksandar Trifunovic is one of the front runners for Alba Berlin’s head coaching job, according to sources.
The Serbian head coach born in 1967 has coached BC Astana since 2013 before parting ways in the middle of the season.
Trifunovic has coach Red Star, Lietuvos Rytas, Panionios, Spartak SPB and Zalgiris Kaunas.
Alba Berlin was also eyeing Sasha Djordjevic but the Serbian legend is not interested in moving to the German powerhouse.
Alba Berlin has not parted ways with Sasa Obradovic but he is expected to leave and may join Panathinaikos.
