Anthony Shavies joins MBC Mykolaiv

American point guard Anthony Shavies has just agreed terms with the Ukranian Superleague, Club MBC Mykolaiv.

Anthony played college basketball at Missouri State University where, on his senior year he averaged 8.8ppg, 3.1rpg and 3.6apg. He has been honored "All-Defensive" team selections in every league he has played in. In 2005-06 he decided to play overseas, moving to Austria where he joined Gussing Knights. Since then, he always remained in Austria, where he’s been awarded as the best Import player of the whole Austrian Bundesliga 1. Anthony also helped his teams in several occasions to win the Austrian Cup and the Austrian Championship.
