BC Donetsk lands Vitaly Kovalenko

BC Donetsk got closer to complete its roster for the upcoming Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds by inking big man Vitaly Kovalenko to respective one-year deals. Kovalenko (2.01 meters, 27 years old) arrives from BC Kyiv, where he averaged 10.6 points and 4.5 rebounds in 46 Ukrainian League games last season. He has also played for Cherkassy Monkeys and Budivelnik in Ukraine, as well as for Znicz Jaroslaw in Poland. Kovalenko has been a member of the Ukrainian national team.

Donetsk also signed three players - Vadim Myakinin, Andrei Korochkin and Ilya Shemosyuk - to respective one-month deals, with an option to keep them for the entire season.
