Budivelnyk wins the 2016/17 Superleague title
The team closed 3-1 the final series against Khimik
Budivelnyk is the new champion of Ukraine, winning the championship number 10 after the last one in 2014 season.
The club from Kyiv won the final series against Khimik for 3-1, closing the year with the 89-81 away victory to assign the 2017 trophy.
After the first place in regular season with 25-2 record the new champions have eliminated Kremen and Cherkasy in the playoffs run. Budivelnyk lost the first game of the finals, but with two consecutive victories away from home reached the final success.
In the last match of the season another good performance for DJ Stephens and for the MVP Henry Dugat, against the efforts of Jamie Smith.
