Sports minister of Ukrainian government confirms that country will host Eurobasket 2015

Sports minister of Ukrainian government, Dmytro Bulatov, confirmed on Facebook that the country will organize Eurobasket 2015. Three are the points of his Facebook post.

1. Ukraine has never thought about giving up on organizing Eurobasket 2015. The tournament is a strategic project for the development of sports infrastructure in Ukraine.

2. The preparatory process for the tournament continues on schedule. On Monday Marc 24 the government will have some meeting with Ukrainian Basketball Federation as well as with investors who are building the arena.

3. On Saturday March 22, the president of Ukrainain basketball Federation, Oleksandr Volkov will attend the FIBA Europe meeting in Munich.
