Real Madrid considering Simone Pianigiani for head coaching job

Real Madrid is considering also Simone Pianigiani for the head coaching job if Pablo Laso leaves the Spanish team.

Pianigiani is the head coach of the Italian National Team and has contract with the Italian Federation for two more years.

If Real Madrid makes a bid for Simone Pianigiani, he will consider leaving the Italian National Team because in Spain there is a rule that doesn't allow a coach of a National Team to be at the helm also of one of the Spanish clubs.

Simone Pianigiani won six consecutive Serie A championships with Mens Sana Siena before leaving for Fenerbahce where he has stayed just half season.

Fotis Katsikaris, head coach of Greek National Team, is another option for Real Madrid.
