Slovenia named a 12-man squad for FIBA World Cup
Jure Zdovc has named his squad
Slovenia head coach Jure Zdovc has named a 12-man preliminary squad for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup with Jaka Lakovic and Bostjan Nachbar as the main omissions.
Both players announced their retirements from the National Team
Slovania’s 12-player squad fBalazic (Tofas), Blazic (Estrella Roja), Goran Dragic (Phoenix Suns), Zoran Dragic (Unicaja), Klobucar (Krka), Domen Loberk (Royal Hali), Erazem Lorbek (Barcelona), Edo Muric (Krka), Alen Omic (Union Olimpia), Prepelic (Banvit), Slokar (Estudiantes) and Miha Zupan (Usak Sportif).
At Spain 2014, Slovenia will play in Gran Canaria's Group D along with Mexico, Lithuania,Angola, Korea and Australia.
