Dusko Vujosevic says he is unhappy for Bogdan Bogdanovic's departure
Vujosevic spoke with Sportski Zurnal
-I'm really unhappy with Bogdanović departure- Says Duško Vujošević to Serbian paper, Športski žurnal.
-The player, when I came back to Partizan, wasn't even ready to be part of the first 12 players. His talent has been developed with great work, and extreme sacrifice of the club and the team. We got rid of Anđušić, and when Westerman got hurt we didn't bring new PG. A lot of minutes were sacrificed, a lot of important games were lost.
- I figured it out that next step would be NBA, but his agency did everything they could to not make that happen, because of their financial interest. There were information that he was supposed to stay two more years in Partizan, meanwhile everything was done to not make him stay here for 2 days.
-The day after the draft Suns GM told us that Bogdan would stay in Partizan for two years and he would be watched by Phoenis. Obviously he was wrongly informed. Bogdan has been fair in the whole story, he could've left without Partizan getting any money, because he wasn't paid fully in Partizan, but he didn't take advantage of that.
UNHAPPY WITH THE PRICE
- I'm personally unhappy that Partizan had to sell him, and the way that he left and the financial terms. Next year his price would only go up, and he would repay Partizan with great games, and maybe another trophy or two.
-Fairy Tales are being told about Bogdan transfer. From 1.3 million, 20% goes to his agent, and the 80% that the club gets will be paid in two installments. One this year, and another next year. First installment of 500.000 is lower for 106.000 because Bogdan only got one paycheck last season.
-Rest of the money that the club gets isn't small, but it's a lot smaller considering what Partizan invested, and it's far from resolving economical issues of the club.
