Crvena Zvezda win Game 1 of Serbian Finals against Partizan Belgrade
After several suspensions, Red Star beat Partizan
Crvena zvezda Telekom beat Partizan NIS in the first final game of Serbian Superleague. The game was interrupted several times and finished in front of empty stands.
It was a nervous game, which was interrupted several times, since Partizan NIS players left the court twice and the players of Crvena zvezda Telekom once. The stands had to be emptied after the brawl on court and incidents in the stands, which both occured in the last quarter, when the red and whites were up by 5 points. After the return to court, Partizan continued with only 3 players and Zvezda with 5 on court, since others were ejected due to the brawl. After two more players reached their 5th personal foul, 6 of them (4 on 2) remained on court until the end. Zvezda managed to protect the lead in the final minutes, triumphed and took the lead in the final series.
