Triumph Lyubertsy tabs Devin Searcy

BC Triumph Lyubertsy reached an agreement with power forward Devin Searcy to join forced until the end of the 2012-13 season, the club announced Wednesday. Searcy (2.08 meters, 23 years old) arrives from the Philadelphia 76ers, where he was released last month. He played for Toyama Grouses in 2011-12, averaging 13.8 points and 10.8 rebounds in 45 Japanese League games last season. Before that, Searcy finished his college career at the University of Dayton, to which he helped to win the NIT Tournament in 2010. Searcy has been registered in time to help Triumph in this week's Eurocup game against Artland Dragons Quakenbrueck.
