Matt Nielsen close to BC Khimki

Matt Nielsen will likely continue his career in Russia with BC Khimki. The Australian forward spent last season with Olympiacos who acquired him after the terrific season with PE Valencia.

Nielsen averaged 9ppg and 3.8rpg in Greek A1 while in Euroleague he scored 4.4ppg and grabbed 2.9rpg. Also Cajasol was interested in Nielsen but negotiations failed and the player decided to accept the proposal from Russia.
