Dinamo Moscow brings in Zavourev

Dinamo Moscow announced on Wednesday morning the addition of guard Vasily Zavoruev (195, 23) for one season and an option for another. Zavoruev arrives from Spartak St. Petersburg where last season he averaged 3.5 poins in 13 Russian League games. He alsoplayed 3 Eurocup games averaging 1.3 points and 0.7 rebounds. Zavoruev grew up with Trinta of Russia and in 2003 he joined CSKA Moscow as a promising talent of Russian basketball. He stayed there for three seasons winning the 2006 Euroleague, the Russian League in 2004, 2005 and 2006 and the Russian Cup in 2005 and 2006. After that, he moved to Standart Samara and in January of 2007 he joined BC Kyiv. He spent the 2008-09 season in Cyprus with Limassol but in 2008 he was back in Russia to play with Spartak St. Petersburg. Zavoruev also played in nearly all the inferior categories of the Russian national team, winning several medals.
