Spartak SPB out of the race for Darius Washington

Spartak SPB is no more interested in Darius Washington, as reported by sources close to the player. The American guard with Macedonian passport was targeted by the Russian team which tabled an important offer to the player. Spartak now will try to sign another point guard for less money.

Lottomatica Roma, the Italian club where Washington finished the season, wants to re-sign him but is encountering some difficulties for the economic part of the contract.

Roma will give to Washington the opportunity to play in an important event as Euroleague and seems that the two parts may end to an agreement.

Washington started last year with Galatasaray and then moved to Virtus Roma when the season for the Turkish team was over.
