CSKA lodged a protest against the result of final series Game 3

After Russian Championship final series Game 3 CSKA management lodged a protest against the result.

Superleague Championship Department will meet at 10.00 on May 25. The Department will decide which number will be awarded to tomorrow's game in Khimki.


Two are the main reasons of the protest:

1. Siskauskas fouled Delfino in the last minute. CSKA had just three fouls in the final quarter but referees gave two free throws at the Argentinean player.


2. With 0.9 seconds left. Siskauskas tried the buzzer-beater from behind the arch. He was fouled by Palacio. Two referees gave three free throws for the Lithuanian but after a discussion woth commissars the free throws became two. In addition time-keeper reduced game time and didn't stop time after foul on Siskauskas.


Scariolo got a technical foul but the foul was not registered.


CSKA said that the game should be invalidated and repeated.
