Travis Hansen: 'It was no longer possibile to stay with Dinamo'

Dinamo Moscow player Travis Hansen, who left the Russian team in the last days due to lack of payment, wrote an open letter to his former supporters, trying to explain the decision to leave the club. The player is already in the States. The letter was published by Dinamo official website.

"I want to say thank you for the past three years. It is a pity that I had to leave because I wanted to stay with Dinamo and finish my career in the club. I understand the financial crisis but the decision to leave was the best for me and for my family. I could no longer remain. I have a lot of good memories for those three years and I appreciated always the supporters. Dinamo will always have a special place in my heart. I am sorry that we did not achieved the results we wanted and I feel sorry for the ones I was responsible. In sport there is no excuse, only results. I wish to the club good luck for the future".

"To part ways with Travis was difficult because he is my favourite player. We know that there is another option to continue his career. Now there is a new stage in the history of the club. We are grateful for what Travis did for us but we will compete with the players that want to play for our team".
